Marquis is a German- or English-language fetish magazine originally launched by Peter W. Czernich and produced since August 1994. Marquis was thus the official successor of the magazine "O" and is the longest-lived fetish magazine in the world.
The publication frequency is half to quarterly and is aimed primarily at fetish, latex and fashion lovers. The core topics are photography, models, books, films, fashion, art and lifestyle.
The magazine's name refers to the philosopher and author Marquis de Sade. Numerous models such as the incomparable Dita von Teese, fetish icon Bianca Beauchamp, Minka, Jade Vixen, Starfucked, or muse Nina de Lianin graced the cover and helped turn Marquis into a scene institution with a unique reputation around the world.
